Pennie’s career in marketing and public relations launched while working for a State Legislator as a District Director. She then advanced to healthcare marketing and served as the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communications & Marketing for a community hospital for many years. Pennie holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from California Baptist University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Committed to staying ahead of the curve in the ever-changing digital marketing environment, Pennie completed Columbia Business School‘s Emeritus Institute of Management program in digital marketing, customer engagement, social media, planning, and analytics.
Pennie was honored by her peers with the Maree Hawkins Communications Professional of the Year Award from the Central Valley Public Relations Organization for her commitment and excellence to the profession. Professionally, she is a member of the Spring Hill Tennessee Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Chamber’s marketing committee.
